To help promote safe sleep for babies we have the Luvion Babysense 7 is a highly sensitive device that monitors and detects even the slightest movements through the mattress. Babysenses’ algorithms register the actual rate of movement, and will sound an alarm when no micro-movement is detected within 20 seconds or if the movement rate slows to less than 10 movements per minute. Caregivers can be alerted about a potential threat before it strikes, giving critical time to intervene.

To help the baby sleep safely the Babysense 7 baby breathing movement monitor keeps an eye on your baby's movements at all times. The Babysense will alarm you if your baby's movement is abnormally fast or irregularly slow making you feel safe and comfortable.
Separate monitors for the Babysense may be found here. Please note that this control unit is for the Babysense 7. This is the latest updated version, released in early 2018. However, the Babysense 7 monitor is backward compatible with the Babysense 5. The Babysense 2 does not connect in combination with the newer models. If you want to make sure what model you have, have a look at the sensor pads. Babysense 2 sensor pads are square, the Babysense 5 and 7 editions have round sensor pads.
If you are looking for a separate sensor mat for the Babysense you can find it here. A maximum of 2 mats can be connected per monitor. Please note that this sensor mat is for the Babysense 7 model. However, it is backward compatible with the Babysense 5 so you can use a mat or monitor of the new Babysense 7 as a replacement.
If you still have a Babysense 2, you have a rectangular instead of a round sensor mat, and you cannot use this mat!

How to prevent Sudden Infant Death Syndrome
Unfortunately it is not always possible to prevent SIDS. However, there is a lot you can do to lower your baby’s risk.

Sometimes even the sound of the alarm will ‘shock’ the baby to start him or her breathing again.
